Setting up the menu

Appearance → Menus. Create a menu, add your pages, and assign it to the

Primary menu location.

If you imported the demo, this is already done.

The theme supports one level of nesting — a parent like Info holding

Experience, Services and Testimonials. This keeps the top row short as a

site grows.

To nest an item, drag it slightly to the right beneath its parent in the Menus

screen. It will show as sub item.

One level is a deliberate limit. Deeper menus are worse on a phone, and the

header cannot lay them out.

It opens on hover for mouse users, on tap for touch, and on keyboard focus, with

Escape to close. All three are wired because a hover-only menu is unusable on a

phone and invisible to a keyboard.

On mobile everything moves into the drawer, where nested items are indented

rather than hidden behind a toggle — a drawer has the room.

Meridian → Appearance offers four header styles: name left with menu right,

name centred with menu beneath, both stacked left, or name only with everything

behind the toggle.

This is independent of your style kit, so you can change one without the other.

Assign a second menu to the Footer menu location. Left unassigned, the

footer reuses your primary menu.
