Import the demo (WordPress)

The demo fills your site with a complete example studio — six portfolio

collections, four journal entries, testimonials, and composed pages — so you

can see how everything fits together before putting your own work in.

Import it

1. Go to Meridian → Demo content
2. Press Import demo content
3. Wait. It takes a minute or two, mostly generating images. Leave the tab open.

The importer also sets your front page, posts page and navigation menu.

What it creates

• 6 portfolio collections with 8–12 photographs each
• 4 journal entries
• 4 testimonials
• Pages for home, about, investment, journal and contact
• A primary menu wired to all of it

Removing it

Meridian → Demo content → Remove demo content.

Everything the importer created is tagged, so removal takes out the demo and

leaves anything you made yourself alone. It is safe to import, have a look, and

remove.

Replace the photographs

The demo images are generated placeholders, not photography. Swap them for your

own work before launch — Media library, or edit each collection under

Portfolio.
