What is where

Dashboard — recent enquiries and a count of everything. If SMTP is not set

up, or install.php is still on the server, you are told here.

Pages — every page, built from blocks. See

the block builder.

Portfolio — your collections. See

collections & galleries.

Journal — long-form posts. Written in HTML: paragraphs in <p>, headings in

<h2>.

Testimonials — kind words, shown wherever you place a testimonials block.

Photographs — the media library. Every upload is automatically resized to

four widths, converted to WebP, and given a tiny placeholder that shows while

the real image loads. You do not have to think about any of that.

Enquiries — every enquiry, stored before any email is attempted.

SEO & redirects — a list of anything missing a search description, plus the

redirect manager for when you move a page.

Settings — appearance, studio details, brand colours, email, analytics.

Your account — the email and password you sign in with.

Two habits worth forming

Write a description for every photograph. The Photographs screen shows

which are missing one. It is read aloud by screen readers and used by search

engines — the same one field serves both.

Use draft status. Anything can be set to draft while you work on it. Draft

pages are invisible to visitors but still viewable by you when signed in.

Backing up

Your entire site is storage/meridian.sqlite and storage/uploads/. Copy both

and you have everything. Nothing else in the installation matters.
